drop broken braille range The Braille range here is useless at any but very large fonts sizes. Upstream SVN already includes drop of these glyphs, and a new set placed in FreeSerif rather than FreeMono. . As FreeMono is a part of Debian's default GUI installation, and our setup makes fontconfig prefer taking glyphs from here rather than other fonts that have them in working order, the effect is making this range unreadable without a specific user change of configuration. . This is done as a patch to .sfd rather than a fontforge strip script because 1. it's simpler (but uglier), 2. won't stay around when the new upstream release finally happens. |
